2nd Week Weigh In

Just a heads up...week 2 of the Biggest Loser weigh-in WILL SUCK. Most of us won't have the numbers we put up in the first week, and really, we shouldn't expect to. But...hang in there and the numbers will turn back in your favor if you have patience and persistence in what you are doing.
I'm guessing you aren't in this because you want to "win a contest". While the prize at the end is a nice small bit of motivation, I'd speculate that the real reason you are doing this is to jump-start a healthier lifestyle. So...no worries about what the number in front of you says tomorrow. Maybe it'll go down...maybe it won't...maybe you'll scream in celebration of a landmark weight loss goal....maybe you'll burst into tears, falling in a heap on the floor for hours, leaving Susan wondering if she should hug you or ask you to leave (this may happen when I arrive so someone should make Susan aware of this)...or maybe...just maybe...you'll figure out that regardless of what is on the scale, your ability to walk in there and face it again makes you better than you were the day before, and the day before that, and the day before that...and each day you ARE getting better and better. And that will make it all worthwhile.
